Time is Running Out For President Obama to Answer Donald Trump and End the Masquerade

Having just returned home from a free viewing of the 1922 classic Nosferatu at the State Theatre, it is time to sit back and work on the blog. While Halloween is my favorite holiday, it is a masquerade of another sort that has caught my attention over the past year and one that I believe could be the biggest costume party ever experienced by United States citizens.

No, it will not be a ball if proven true, but it could be reality. This masquerade is the one that is being perpetrated by President Obama, and one that Donald Trump gone out on a limb to bring some light on the subject with his $5 million charity offer to the president to do what is right and release some information on his background.

Now, I do not consider myself a birther, as I actually served under Obama as the Commander-in-Chief over the last three years of service, as I retired last year after 21-years of service. Even though I could have stayed in the military, some ask why did I retire? The answer is simple, too many good young Sailors were being separated from service due to the extreme drawdown policies that were being enacted by the President, and I felt it was my job to stand aside and allow others to grow and experience what it meant to serve their country.

I loved the Navy, and I love my country, but it was an experience recently that made me start to question the transparent nature of the president. When my daughters dependant ID expired recently, I was told I needed her birth certificate to receive her ID. This was a hard rule, regardless of the fact she was on my DEERS certification or on my retirement DD214, I needed her birth certificate. When I heard that, I said, amazing! He can become president without it, but I cannot get her ID unless I have her birth certificate. This is absolutely amazing.

That is why when I heard about Mr. Trump’s offer, I was fascinated. I was fascinated by the idea of finally being able to learn something about the man who is butchering our military, and the man who left soldiers and Americans behind in Benghazi. Of course, within two hours of Mr. Trumps’ announcement, I knew that President Obama would not release the documents or even speak about the offer. The offer we know he saw because of his actions trumpeting YouTube after Benghazi and the inflammatory video story that was apparently created to cover-up another failure of the government. He was a big fan of that website, so much so that his entire cabinet mentioned it for two weeks.

Of course, you could ask, how did I know this? Think about it, he is theoretically the most powerful man in the world; he could have had something manufactured in that time and said, here you go. To me, this lack of immediate action spoke volumes about President Obama. If a man holds onto documents and his past like this, it makes one think that he has something to hide. Sure, a quick search of the internet will show a variety of things. There are questions about his citizenship, his political views, his upbringing, his religious ideologies, and more. With all of that out there, one would think that the man, or his family, would want the truth out there. That is, unless there is something to hide.

The crazy thing is, the items that Mr. Trump asked for are relatively minor in the grand scheme, his college applications and records, and his passport documents. All of these are items that every president or candidate have released in the past. More importantly, they are a lot of the same items you the citizen will be asked for when applying for a job, or unemployment, or anything. The ladder is a fact that should make everyone out there stand up and say wait, why didn’t the President do this before he took office, just as I did with my daughters ID card.

As yesterday passed and the announcement was made that Mr. Trump extended the deadline by 18-hours, I had to laugh. I was with five friends when this came out, including one person who converted from an Obama supporter due to the lack of transparency on his background once it was explained in depth. Ironically, he too was formerly in the military and did not recognize the invisible history of the Commander-in-Chief.

As the six of us talked, we discussed what, if anything Mr. Trump had that could possibly dispel a manufactured document if one was so provided. Could it be transcripts with poor grades, different places of birth on the different applications, what was it? Or was it nothing at all, and like many he just wants to see the truth or a fabricated version of the truth? It does not matter, we will see nothing, we never were.

The extension means little, as Mr. Obama was never going to take Mr. Trump up on his offer. I knew it, my friends knew it, and I believe Mr. Trump knew it, when he made the offer. President Obama was not going to respond to his offer. In fact, the only thing the delay may have done is delay the heckling that Mr. Trump will receive from the Kool Aid drinking blind supporters of Obama, which inevitably will happen. As always, they will make excuses like he was busy campaigning, Hurricane Sandy or the altitude got to him.

Of course, while we all want this transparency to end, for a man who parades around for photo ops when it is convenient, like when the Navy Seals got Osama Bin Laden, or when Hurricane Sandy wrecked havoc on America, he seems to disappear when the pressure is directly on him. That is what happened with Benghazi, and that is what happened with this $5 million offer. The pressure was placed solely upon his shoulders, and he cannot react. That’s right, Candy Crowley will not bust through the door and save the day like she did during the debate and at some point the president will have to answer for his actions or inactions.

If you are reading this, think about it, why is the president hiding his past, what is he afraid of? As I said earlier in this post, these are items other presidents, candidates and citizens have produced for items much smaller than the position of leader of the free world. All items that the government has no problem demanding when applying for benefits. Honestly think about it, as was stated in the video, this was a challenge the president could not refuse, yet, he did, and he is a man that has more at stake than anyone else, re-election. Something that is especially true in an election that could come down to a handful of votes in any one of the few swing states.

At this point, the only frustrating thing is I have to wait until noon for the Mr. Trump announcement and yet another disappointment from the Commander-in-Chief.

The Fall of the House of Usher (1949)

To me, it is not Halloween without a little Edgar Allan Poe, and it just so happens that TCM has a nice selection of Poe adaptations available for viewing. For me, Poe has been such an influential author and person in my life. Some of the earliest trips into the world of darkness came from his quill, and his words continually resonate in my mind. My selection for the night was the classic, The Fall of the House of Usher from 1949.
Plot/ A traveler arrived at the Usher mansion to visit his old friend, Roderick Usher. Upon arrival, he discovers that Roderick and his sister, Madeline, have been afflicted with a mysterious malady: Roderick's senses have become painfully acute, while Madeline has become nearly catatonic. That evening, Roderick tells his guest of an old Usher family curse: any time there has been more than one Usher child, all of the siblings have gone insane and died horrible deaths. As the days wear on, the effects of the curse reach their terrifying climax.
I love Poe, and movies about his work. Unfortunately, it is a mixed bag on what you get when you watch them. Sometimes, you get a great tale, and sometimes you do not. That is where this loose adaptation comes in. To me, this may be one of my least favorite adaptations of Usher. While it is not terrible and there is some decent atmosphere, it definitely comes across as seriously disjointed. While it is somewhat unique, and has a tolerable 76-minute run time, it definitely has more than low budget flaws. The most glaring flaw is the pacing, which is uneven throughout the flick. In watching it, I am unsure whether that is due to scripting or the directorial constraints encountered with a low budget and short run time. In the end, this was a decent and interesting effort but one that fails in comparison to some of the other adaptations from the period. If you love Poe and have some time check it out, but do not feel compelled to search for it.

Is Nikola Tesla the Father of Frankenstorm?

To all my friends up and down the East Coast, I wish you all good luck over the next few days it could be rough. Over the past few days, I have been tracking the combination of HAARP signals and the track of Hurricane Sandy and have discovered some interesting parallels. In fact, that while I do not want to insult anyone, these parallels definitely point to some type of weather manipulation at work. Even the name given to it has manufactured connotations.

HAARP Readings - Sunday Afternoon

Hurricane Sandy Track - Sunday Afternoon

Think about it, Frankenstorm as this has been dubbed, takes its origins to the Mary Shelley classic Frankenstein and the classic creature Frankenstein’s Monster. Sure, some will say that this name was spawned by the Halloween season that is at hand, but could it be a hint from those in the know about the truth behind this storm. Honestly, in this day in age, anything is possible, and what was Frankenstein's Monster? A manufactured creature from the mind of a genius.

Of course, the first thing to do would be to figure out why. Look around, that truth is everywhere. There are unanswered and even unrealized questions about Benghazi that are floating around, the economy is failing, and I have not hit the election yet. I remember hearing once that the economy is at its best during wartime, second on that list, disasters. Now for some, this may seem extremely speculative, especially in the face of a huge natural disaster, but like everything else, there are questions that must be brought up, and answers that must be found.

The second question would be could this scale of weather manipulation be possible?  Again that answer is a resounding, yes! On here, we have mentioned chemtrails and HAARP as two potential methods, but there are more. In fact, some of this technology may go all the way back to Nikola Tesla and his works of genius. Of course, no one truly knows the depths of his works; the government confiscated all of his notes as matters of national security after his death. Ironic, isn’t it?

One look at pages recently released under the FOIA, Tesla was indeed working on weather manipulation, starting with his experiments in Colorado produced powerful artificial lightening, in the millions of volts. He also discovered if he beamed radio waves at the exact ELF frequency by which earth's weather is naturally created, he could create various weather phenomenon, i.e., rain, wind storms, hail storms. Later, Tesla discovered that this technology could be adapted to create "resonance machines", out of which came the capability to produce the shaking of buildings and of the earth, and later, real earthquakes. Where was his East Coast research facility, Long Island. Where is Montauk? Again, the answer is Long Island.  Ironically, as the Russian Government found this technology, they gained the ability to create and steer hurricanes.

The last question is would a government actually do this?  Absolutely, if they would not, why would the United Nations ban the use of weather manipulation? Of course, the United Nations banned it from use on enemies during war time applications, so it may be a stretch to see the government use it on its own people, but it is possible.

As the 2012, Doomsday Counter continues to trend downward, this is just another weather system that makes you wonder. This is especially true for North America after a magnitude 7.7 earthquake struck the Western Coast of Canada on Saturday evening. Let us all hope that these events are coincidence and not something more maniacal at work. Let us hope.

Piranha 3DD (2012)

After watching Dark Shadows last night, I decided to keep the movie momentum going with another flick from 2012. Of course, I knew going in that there was no way this one could even come close to that Tim Burton entry, but hey, sometimes everyone suffers a little. My late night selection last night was the little publicized (for a reason) Piranha 3DD.

Plot/ After the events at Lake Victoria, the pre-historic school of bloodthirsty piranhas make their way into a newly opened water park.

Honestly, before even popping this into the DVD player, I knew what to expect. No, I had not read a review, I could just tell that what I was about to watch was going to be miserable. To be fair, I had hoped that there would be enough campy fun for me to overlook the flaws that I knew would permeate through the entire flick. Unfortunately, I could not even get that. This has to be one of the worst sequels in history. The acting is bad (except for a couple cameos, which are decently funny), the plot makes little sense, and it really offered very little in originality. There was some gore, some kills, and some hot chicks, but that is about it. In the end, this flick was truly one of the most terrible sequels I have watched and feel dumber for have spent time with this on my television. Honestly, avoid this at all cost!

Dark Shadows (2012)

After continuing on breaking down the Hurricane Sandy – HAARP Connection and focusing an effort on Twitter, with some other Patriots, to pressure the media into covering the travesty that is the Benghazi incident, I needed to take a break from reality. These are some dark days in our history, and one can only stay wrapped inside that abyss so long. To find an escape, I turned to Tim Burton and his adaptation of Dark Shadows.
Plot/ An imprisoned vampire, Barnabas Collins, is set free and returns to his ancestral home, where his dysfunctional descendants are in need of his protection.
I waited on this one because I really was not excited about the previews. Now that I have finally watched it, I have mixed emotions. I actually found the movie a lot more entertaining than I expected from the trailers. The acting was solid, visuals tremendous and the mood was a lot more serious and there was more of a dark flair than comedy. Unfortunately, the flick seemed disjointed as it was not clear whether it was a serious flick or a comedy. The characterization was lacking and that held the overall feeling of the film somewhat in limbo, as there was excessively much going on. In the end, this was better than I expected, but not great. It was entertaining, but there are a lot of other flicks out there that can be enjoyed.

Chemtrails, HAARP, Hurricane Sandy and a Look at Weather Manipulation

For some, the idea of weather manipulation is pure science fiction. However, it is quite real. While people ponder the realities of such powers and where it could come from, there are a lot of researchers out there that believe that weather manipulation signals can emanate from the Top Secret government program HAARP or be associated with the large quantity of chemtrails that can be seen in the sky.

Some even produce ideas for specifically manipulating hurricanes including, using lasers to discharge lightning in storms, which are likely to become hurricanes to kick start them, pouring liquid nitrogen onto the sea to deprive the hurricane of heat energy and creating soot to absorb sunlight and change air temperature and hence convection currents in the outer wall. Of course, with the truths behind Chemtrails and HAARP still rather unknown, they will remain likely candidates.

As Hurricane Sandy continues to trend toward the East Coast, and the band of cold weather is heading that way from the West, the idea of this Frankenstorm as it has been dubbed looks potentially devastating. When looking at the HAARP readings, the all-time high levels recorded on Friday are still in place today, while the surrounding areas are dropping, thus creating a strong (albeit theoretical) gravity toward what could be ground zero for landfall.

Hurricane Sandy Track - Saturday Evening

To understand how deadly the possibilities are, people must look pass the most basic form of cloud seeding and look at storm manipulation. A threat that is so devastating that the United Nations has banned the practice of provoking damaging weather against an enemy or rival, as a tactic of military or economic warfare.

One quick look at weather manipulation history in the United States can show a timeline of interest. In 1977, The United Nations held an Environmental Modification Convention where they took on the discussion of weather modification, particularly hostile weather warfare and eventually enacted the ban.

The Barrens (2012)

After working on a couple pieces on HAARP and Hurricane Sandy, and also spending multiple hours on twitter calling for answers in the Benghazi Incident, I decided it was time for a break. I needed it. Sure, those other two causes are tremendously important, and the mainstream media has done little to cover them, there does come a time to step back. Ironically, when I was searching for something to watch, I stumbled upon a movie about one of my favorite subjects, the Jersey Devil. What is it? The 2012 flick, The Barrens.

Plot/ A man takes his family on a camping trip and becomes convinced they are being stalked by the legendary monster of the New Jersey Pine Barrens: the Jersey Devil.

Having suffered though many creature features recently, I had low expectations on this entry. However, much to my surprise, this one was a lot better than I could have ever imagined. Armed with an outstanding storyline and some solid acting, this one was entertaining throughout. The scripting was sound, the effects on target and the cinematography was good. Yes, there were some slight pacing issues and a couple small elements that felt out of place, but those are easily overlooked. In the end, this may be more of a psychological thriller than horror, but it is entertaining and actually an original take on this great legend. If you enjoy creature features and are looking for one, check this out.

Montauk, HAARP and Hurricane Sandy Update

After such an overwhelming response to the HAARP /  Hurricane Sandy piece from yesterday, I decided to continue updating the situation and adding some more information on HAARP, or at least possible information on the origins of this deadly system. Amazingly, after many of the Northeastern HAARP readings from the HAARP Status Organization were full scale yesterday, they actually rose to all-time highs in the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut areas today (annotated in white on the HAARP Map).

As we discussed in the piece yesterday, construction on the facility began in 1993. However, there is a mysterious location (ironically near the center of the largest HAARP signals) in Montauk, NY that may have been its birthplace. Regardless of the basis of the storm, this one is going to be devastating for much of the East Coast of the United States. If you live on one of the regions that lie in the storms path, please be prepared for the worse.

United States HAARP Signals - Friday Afternoon

Updated Hurricane Sandy Track - Firday Afternoon

These former military bases Camp Hero and Montauk Air Force Station, were basically multi-leveled testing facilities until the 1980s for the government. Montauk was established as a base prior to WWII, official records state that the installation was only active until the late 1960s, although FOIA information and eyewitness information have it active much longer than the official claim.

Evidence of the facilities use took on a different light, as researchers from SGRA discovered that after the military left, agencies such as the CIA and their classified research programs took up residence many under the code name Project Phoenix. Some of this ultra-sensitive research was on theories such as Remote Viewing, Quantum Particle Physics, Weather Control, Genetics, Mind Control and PsyOps. Two of these areas of experimentation sit at the center of the HAARP Conspiracy as potential usages for the weapon. As of now, no one knows why the station was abandoned and the experimentation stopped, although there are rumors of an experiment going out of control.

Recent investigation of the area shows increased activity and a governmental military security outfit present at the location, a change of posture from the days after closure. Could this mean that the facility is operational again? It is possible, but with the majority of the facility located underground in a subterranean matrix, it is impossible to determine for sure what it happening at the location.
Ironically, like when operating in the 1980s, surrounding neighbors of the installation never see people coming in or out of the facility. These soldiers are just mysteriously there. Could the location be active and at the center of steering the hurricane, sure, especially when you see the strongest HAARP readings ever centered on top of this abandoned facility.

Is HAARP Shifting the Track of Hurricane Sandy?

In 2009, former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura questioned whether the government is using HAARP to manipulate the weather or to bombard people with mind-controlling radio waves on his show Conspiracy Theory. In fact, during his research, he and his team requested a tour of the facility, but were turned away. Why?  Fast forward three years, and the answer may be in front of us.
HAARP has been a controversial subject and a conspiracy theorists dream, as the project has been shrouded in secrecy for years.  If you are not into conspiracies, you may wondering about what HAARP is.  According to documentation , it is the High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the University of Alaska, and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).  According to theorists, it sits at the heart of many natural disasters.
That is where this week comes in, especially after monitoring the change in national HAARP readings and the changing track of Hurricane Sandy, which is heading toward the East Coast of the United States. While some people may look upon it as a stretch, but the coincidence of the two cannot be readily discounted. Look for yourself.
HAARP Map - Wednesday Morning

Hurricane Sandy Track - Wednesday
Notice on the two, the HAARP readings along the Northern East Coast and Northeast were around seven. Sure they were high, but not to an extreme. Now look at the changes recorded today.
HAARP Map - Thursday Afternoon

Hurricane Sandy Track - Thursday Afternoon

In breaking those two map / track projections the inpact of the HAARP signatures cannot be ignored. If you would like to check these changes yourself, go to the HAARP Status website, which monitors the daily HAARP signals in real time.
Built by BAE Advanced Technologies (BAEAT), its purpose is to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance. The HAARP program operates a major sub-arctic facility, named the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force–owned site near Gakona, Alaska.
The most prominent instrument at the HAARP Station is the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI), a high-power radio frequency transmitter facility operating in the high frequency (HF) band. The IRI is used to temporarily excite a limited area of the ionosphere. Other instruments, such as a VHF and a UHF RADAR, a Fluxgate Magnetometer, a Digisonde, and an Induction Magnetometer, are used to study the physical processes that occur in the excited region.
According to reports, construction on the facility began in 1993, although rumors of HAARP experimentation go back decades before. If this is a weapon that has these abilities, no one man or government should be in control. If it is a weapon, we should all be scared.

Fire in the Sky (1993)

After a night of debates, where the two candidates did very little to distinguish themselves, it was time to get back into some movies. Lately, I have been in a deep conspiracy theorist mood, as all of the stories coming out of the presidential campaigns draw me into this mental web of intrigue. NDAA or HAARP anyone? I also love to debate and discuss topics, and yes, I have my own opinions. With this conspiracy strain in my mind, I decided to revisit one of the better UFO / Alien Abduction movies I can remember watching, the true story of Travis Walton, Fire in the Sky.

Plot/ A group of men who were clearing bush for the government arrive back in town, claiming that aliens abducted their friend. Nobody believes them, and despite a lack of motive and no evidence of foul play, their friends' disappearance is treated as murder.

One of the problems that come with movies based on (or loosely based on) true stories is that the original material does not always transfer onto film the way it transpired in reality. When this happens, it creates a fictional element that sometimes takes away from the film. In this case, yes there are some fictional additions to the historic alien abduction case of Travis Walton; however, while the abduction scene was changed for the film, the integrity of the overall story was not jeopardized. The cast was top notch and the acting solid, the story was and remains interesting, and the cinematography and effects really work. Honestly, other than the liberties taken with the abduction scenes, this is one that provides a great snapshot into this controversial topic. In the end, this flick continues to resonate as a solid Sci-Fi / Mystery / Thriller and one that leaves many unanswered questions floating in the wind. If you have not watched it, check it out!

Conspiracy Theory (1997)

While working last night for Steelers 101 and listening to the fifth anniversary show of Beyond the Edge Radio, I found some very interesting thoughts on the different stories in the conspiracy theory realm. I love conspiracies, I love researching them, debating them, and discussing them. Hell, I love everything about them. With that in mind, and with the last presidential debate on tap, I decided to breakdown Conspiracy Theory from 1997.

Plot/ A man obsessed with conspiracy theories becomes a target after one of his theories turns out to be true. Unfortunately, in order to save himself, he has to figure out which theory it is.

This was one of the better movies of the genre. Of course, as a person who believes and often touts conspiracy theories, I felt like I could relate to the characters. Sure, I may not be as eccentric and delusional, but still relate. The storyline was a nice mix of paranoia and truths (at least of certain perspectives) and was put to the screen quite well. The acting was solid (Mel Gibson awesome), the action was entertaining, and the comedy that was sprinkled in really worked. In the end, this was a suspenseful and tension filled action flick with a hint at the darker side of reality the many citizens ignore. If you have not seen it, check it out!

Chernobyl Diaries (2012)

After a long strange day where I felt void of energy, I found myself very unmotivated. Honestly, part of me wanted to dive something conspiracy driven, something that maybe I could look into as a side research project. Unfortunately, I did not even have that in me. So, instead of something conspiracy driven, I decided on the 2012 disaster driven Chernobyl Diaries.

Plot/ Six tourists hire an extreme tour guide who takes them to the abandoned city Pripyat, the former home to the workers of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor. During their exploration, they soon discover they are not alone.

I knew going into watching this one that there was no way that the idea or potential of this flick would be far greater than reality. Seriously, the real visuals from this devastated area are extremely surreal and creepy, and although it makes the perfect backdrop for a movie, it will be difficult in capturing on film. That is the case with this one; there is so much inherent potential within the idea, that there is no way to match it. More of a thriller that horror flick, there are some solid moments in this one. Yes, the acting is so-so, the characters unlikable, the scripting uneven and there next to no suspense or gore, but there is a creepiness that does come through. Sure, this one is not for everyone, but it is also not the worst choice out there.

Apartment 143 (2011)

After getting home late from a football game, one where my daughter’s high school band rocked as the WPXI Band of the Week, I decided to kick back from my long day. At first, I could not decide on anything as the subject matter was all over the place in my head. This is such a great time of the year and as we sit less than two weeks from Halloween, the unknown is all around us. In the end, I decided on something in the paranormal or supernatural world, Apartment 143 (AKA Emergo) from 2011.

Plot/ A team of parapsychologists try to figure out a strange phenomenon occurring in an apartment building.

Found footage films are often a hard watch, featuring a ton of cliché, underdeveloped characters, and quickly derived storylines that take away from any of the potential that a movie had. However, to my surprise, this one was a bit different. Sure, it had some cliché moments, but the idea was original and the storyline was interesting. On top of that, while the acting was not great, it was believable and the characterization made what was there even better. Sure, there were some points that were unbelievable, but that failed to influence the overall feel. In the end, this one definitely one of the best-found footage films I have seen, it is interesting, it has some atmosphere, and it has a realism that some lack. With Halloween just around the corner, this would be a great film to check out.
