I love searching estate sales, yard sales and flea markets for new items to put into my collection of horror related items and creepy curiosities, not to mention they are a great location to find items for my online ETSY store. This weekend, I was lucky enough to find some great vintage Halloween items (some in mutiples) and Ben Cooper Costumes, making them somewhat easier to part with if I decide. With only 21 days until the greatest holiday ever, who knows what I will decide.

Apocalypse Special
As I was sitting here today reflecting on my life and the potential Apocalypse tomorrow, I decided that I cannot take stuff with me. With that in mind, I believe that it is time to clear out some stuff on my ETSY page. Due to the impending Zombie Apocalypse and the end of the world as we know it, anyone can take 10% off any item in my etsy shop this weekend by using coupon code: JUDGEMENTDAY

As I have had some more time to enjoy my recovery, I decided to put a little more effort into stocking my ETSY page. While none of the items are Earth-shattering, there are some interesting and weird items that I have picked-up from time-to-time.

Slimeball the Clown (OOAK Post-Surgery Art)
I hate being confined to my recliner and cannot wait for this incision to heal so I can get back to some normal daily events. Until then, I guess I am trapped by horror movies, writing and the weirdness that are part of me. With that in mind, I finished the first post-surgery art piece today... Slimeball the Clown, a OOAK zombie clown wall hanging. Who knows, once I recover, maybe I will sacrifice some of these to my ETSY page.

ETSY Update - OOAK Jersey Devil Items
What a great game this past week as the Steelers moved one step closer to a seventh Super Bowl title. Tonight, I was bored and decided to start adding to and updating my ETSY page. Below are some pictures of the items that I relisted from the OOAK Jersey Devil Collection. More items will be following soon, so keep checking back!
Everyone has heard of the Jersey Devil, the winged creature that has been tormenting the Garden State and the Pine Barrons for almost Three centuries. With that in mind, we have created a line of OOAK wall-hanging heads to pay homage to this mysterious creature. This demon complete with real horns (deer antlers) hangs quietly staring outward waiting to overtake the world.
Everyone has heard of the Jersey Devil, the winged creature that has been tormenting the Garden State and the Pine Barrons for almost Three centuries. With that in mind, we have created a line of OOAK bottles to pay homage to this mysterious creature. Each bottle that is used as the base material of the sculpture has been discovered and rescued from Leeds Point, where in 1735 Mother Leeds gave birth to a 13th child, the famed Jersey Devil that escaped into the fabric of of Americana.
This winged demon stands staring outward with an original poem on its chest. The poems states
Every night he struggles with the loneliness
His mind wandering the pathways that will be
Hoping to find the love of a mother lost
Or a life never shared
His torment, in this world we now share
Within the reeds he calls home
Myth or legend
Devil or angel
Forever he will survive
A lone link to days of yore
A dark shadow in the fabric of the whispering pines
Following his golden spiral of life

ETSY Find of the Week - Jezebel
Here in the Sideshow, we believe that everyone has a right to hangout with the undead. With that in mind, we have created OOAK Zombie dolls to keep you company when it is cold outside, or to keep you in the mood in between zombie walks.
Each doll that is used has been recycled from misc dolls we have picked up during our travels. From there, they are transformed into members of our sideshow where they will stand until someone comes along and opens their arms to embrace these beautiful creatures.
Tonight, Jezebel stands staring outward from her cage waiting to overtake the world with her beauty. Pick her up today!

ETSY Find of the Week - Devil on a Bottle
Maybe it's not the Devil himself, but a younger, cuter, maybe kinder version. This is a OOAK assemblage made from various vintage pieces. A solo black feather is captured within the bottle, but sealed so as not to let any evil escape. Great for your Halloween or everyday decor, not to mention an excellent gift for someone who has been especially bad - in a good way. Grab ths great item at the Scarlet Circus...

Old One Eye - OOAK Zombie Puppet
AAAAAArgh! Ahoy There, Here in the Sideshow, we believe that everyone has a right to hangout with the undead. With that in mind, we have created OOAK Zombie dolls to keep you company when it is cold outside, or to keep you in the mood in between zombie walks.
This OOAK zombie marionette pirate is made from a marionette puppet grabbed while a couple was on vacation in Mexico. Unfortunately, they did not realize it had been infected and would soon be consumed by the flesh eating virus. Tonight, Old One Eye hangs quietly waiting to overtake the world with his old world beliefs.
