Leave the World Behind (2023) - Part 5 - Psyop

 

I have been slowly diving into the situation taking place in New Jersey with the UAP/ Drone flap that is taking place. Between interesting videos on social media, a familiarity of the area from being stationed up there, and the inept answers being disseminated by the different three letter agencies, it is intriguing. 

But, through what I was reading, there was something that was weighing on me and I couldn’t place it, until I did. Looking at some of my notes from past investigations, it dawned on me that the timing of all this was familiar. Then I realized it was the anniversary of Leave the World Behind, and all of the symbolism and predictive programming it gave us. This flap fits right into that movie, yet adding another strange layer to the story.  

Plot: A family vacation on Long Island is interrupted by two strangers bearing news of a blackout. As the threat grows, both families must decide how best to survive the potential crisis, all while grappling with their own place in this collapsing world.

On Wednesday, New Jersey Republican state Sen. Jon Bramnick called for ‘limited state of emergency’ over mysterious drone sightings that are plaguing New Jersey for the past 6 weeks. I totally get that request, especially as the three letter agencies keep saying, “we have no idea who is doing this, but there is no threat to national security.” I’m sorry, both of those statements cannot be true. If you are clueless on the origin, how do you know the intention? You can’t, unless you are lying about something. 

To me, a military veteran and a researcher, the fact that our own federal government seems remarkably unconcerned to find out the origin of this incursion is very telling. To me, it screams black project or psyop. This is where Leave the World Behind comes into play. 

If you remember, President Obama produced and co-wrote that movie and one of the main themes was the government launching a series of psyops against the American people, which  would ultimately lead to civil war. 

There is a great divide inside the United States right now because of the amount of gaslighting and misinformation being pushed on both sides of the aisle. Mainstream media is dead and one has to sift through volumes of information to get to truths. Too many people blindly believe what they hear and accept things on face value. They are blind to the fact that our elected officials are being controlled by the corporate lobbyists and career government officials that believe they are above our elected officials.  

Between playing both sides on the international front, driving up debt by handing out money like it is water to foreign nations, and fear of major change on the horizon as threats about releasing certain documents near, it would not be a surprise that someone in the so-called Deep State would launch a psyop to save their grasp on power. 

I don’t believe in coincidence and there are too many coincidences found in Leave the World Behind. Hell, it was supposed to be fiction, but like Orwell’s 1984, it is becoming more like a predictive model for society. 

Conclave (2024)

For some reason I was drawn to this movie. From the first time I watched the trailer, I just knew I had to watch it. While it does sit outside my normal genre search, I decided to finally head out to the NARO and check out Conclave (2024)

Plot: When Cardinal Lawrence is tasked with leading one of the world's most secretive and ancient events, selecting a new Pope, he finds himself at the center of a conspiracy that could shake the very foundation of the Catholic Church.

I really didn’t know much about this heading into it, in fact, I originally thought it was going to dive into the Pope’s death back in the 1970s. I remember that as a kid and thought it was somewhat mysterious. What I found with this one was much better than that and likely more entertaining. The storyline in this one is good, although in retrospect after watching it, it is somewhat predictable. That doesn’t matter though because the performances, atmosphere, tension, and overall storyline work together quite well, making the movie seamlessly fly by. It honestly didn’t feel like a 2hr movie. The political intrigue and conspiracy aspects work to add a sense of realism as well. I am sure there will be many that will not like the ending, but I feel like it perfectly underscored the entirety of the movie. That might not have been clear at the exact moment, but in looking back, it was obvious. In the end, this conspiracy drama thriller might be the best movie I have seen in 2024 and is well deserving of all the accolades it receives. Plus, it has a message that should permeate through society, “the only sin in certainty” and too many people are certain about their beliefs and will not step outside their comfort zone.

Leave the World Behind (2023) Part 3 - Tesla Roadblock

After a couple days of holiday horror (which I am continuing right now) I decided to get back to Leave the World Behind, and the symbolism and predictive programming it gave us. Tonight though,  I am going to go into one of the weirder scenes, one that was quite  prophetic already,  just days after the movie premiere on Netflix.

Plot: A family vacation on Long Island is interrupted by two strangers bearing news of a blackout. As the threat grows, both families must decide how best to survive the potential crisis, all while grappling with their own place in this collapsing world.

Looking back at this movie after a few days away,  this may be one of the most ironic scenes in the movie, when they stumble upon a fleet of Tesla's blocking the road as they attempt to escape the area. In the scene, hese are all brand-new self-driving Teslas, and they drove themselves to the highway. With no drivers present, it appears that these cars were hacked and more may very well be on their way to clog the highways. Sure enough, another Tesla starts coming down the road, driving straight toward the family’s car.

Is this possible? Absolutely. Yes, it would be extremely difficult and highly unlikely,  but the scene does present a situation that could happen in a freak scenario.  At first,  I was gong to skip past this and just chalk it up to the hatred that the government appears to have with Tesla and owner Elon Musk. From the outset under President Obama and especially now under President Biden, Tesla never gets recognized the same way that the major automakers (Ford or GM) with their progress in electric vehicles. I am in no way making a political statement,  I am just pointing out an apparent fact with that, so so please don't look at this through a political lens. Now,  why did I revisit this?

In a strange twist,  just like something from a movie.  Tesla announced that it is recalling nearly all 2 million of its cars on US roads to limit the use of its Autopilot feature following a two-year probe by US safety regulators of roughly 1,000 crashes in which the feature was engaged.

Leave the World Behind was released on November 22, and this recall occurred in December 13, less than a month after the world saw this scene.  Was this just an odd coincidence? That is entirely possible,  but I don't really believe in those and think this was some of the predictive programming I mentioned above.  Would it really be out of the realm of possibility that President Obama or someone in his team got wind of the pending report by someone on the safety committee? I don't think so.  Or, would it be possible that after seeing the scene (and even Elon commenting on it on social media), the movie forced Tesla's hand? We will probably never know.  All I know is I don't believe in coincidence,  and this one is just too perfect.  Agree or disagree,  let me know. 

Leave the World Behind (2023) Part 2 - 1619 MHz

This is a movie that has created so much buzz on Tik Tok and other social media with the ever-changing symbolism sprinkled through the film.  While some of it is obvious,  some of the other stuff is more obscure.  One of those I will go over today in part two, the 1619 MHz frequency that shows up on the radio screen in the car.

When I first saw this in the film,  it didn't register.  I originally thought that it was a satellite radio malfunction.  But,  at second glance, it damned on me that the frequency say outside of all three major radio systems AM, FM, or Satellite. While 1619 MHz (or 1.616 GHz) can be used for satellite communications uplink, it is mostly used in L-Band RADAR. The wavelength range of L band is 30–15 cm. The L band is one of the chief operating ranges used by various applications such as radars, global positioning systems (GPS), telecommunications and aircraft surveillance. So, this was an odd choice for the radio,  but why?

One of the simplest dots to connect would be to associate it with the 1619 Project, after all, a ship named White Lion made a huge impact early on in the movie.  For those not b familiar, the 1619 Project is The New York Times Magazine's award-winning reframing of American history that placed slavery and its continuing legacy at the center of our national narrative. And the ship that delivered the slaves to the shores of America? The White Lion.

I could have stopped there,  but,  something kept nagging at me.  That's when the thought of the frequency detected at Skinwalker Ranch when a UAP appeared on the television show The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch popped into my head. That frequency was 1.6 Ghz. While that frequency on the show was a general 1.6 GHz, it still popped into my head because it would still sit within the bandwidth.  With all the talk of disclosure going around (especially in Congress) would it be outside the realm of predictive programming to plant the seed on a potential communication frequency?

That's when I found this video on Tik Tok that sat in the 1.6 GHz range.  While I don't have the equipment here to verify and it is outside the 1619 MHz mentioned in the film,  again it is. In the same bandwidth. This could all be a coincidence, but I don't believe in coincidence. 

In the end,  it is likely another reference to White Lion and the 1619 Project, but other possibilities can exist. Possibly even one that we don't know about yet.  If you agree,  or have a thought about this featured,  leave me a comment.  Plus,  stay tuned for the next entry in this series.  

JFK: What the Doctors Saw (2023)

It's a dreary and rainy morning here on the eve of Thanksgiving and it was perfect for some documentary time after taking care of the pups this morning.  With it being November 22nd, I decided to tackle the new JFK documentary on Paramount +. JFK: What the Doctors Saw.

Plot: Startling medical observations about JFK's wounds when seven doctors who were in the Parkland Hospital ER reunite to discuss a day none of them can forget.

Today marks 60 years from that fateful day and yet,  our government (which many people still trust), still will not release the information they have classified and sealed away from the world.  For many,  it's just a Conspiracy,  nothing to see here, but for many it makes one of the most tragic days in history.  For me,  I have always believed that we were being led to; there was at least one other shooter and this documentary did even more to prove that.  Unlike many previous documentaries on the subject,  this one did not rely on propped up regurgitation of the facts and theories that are everywhere. Instead, this one goes right to the front lines with the doctors and first responders at Parkland and allows them to recount what thethey experienced and witnessed. In the process, it unveils testimony and observations that have been hidden from the population for far too long. It also shows some of the irregularities with the post mortem handling of  the president and how this government driven cover-up started to be crafted.  By now,  many have awoken to the fact that the story we have been fed is a lie,  and it is far past the time where the truth should be told.  If you are searching for the truth or are on the fence,  this one is a must watch.  If you a staunch believer in the company line,  it is even more of a must watch for you,  even though you will probably just laugh it off as a Conspiracy Theory. Just remember,  if the government will lie to you about killing a president,  they will lie to you about anything. 

Kecksburg: The Untold Story (2004)

While the news (or hoax) coming out of Las Vegas has been interesting, the recent event that struck a cord with me was the recent meeting of intelligence officials at Wright Patterson airfield in Ohio. This facility has always been interesting to UFO enthusiast and this meeting stirred up even more interested.  For me,  it reminded me of a scene from the documentary Kecksburg: The Untold Story. Growing up near Kecksburg, this story had always fascinated me and this documentary is a great resource for researchers. 

Plot: Many people believe the government is not telling the truth about it's involvement in the retrieval of a crashed UFO in Kecksburg, Pennsylvania in 1965. Was there an object that fell from the sky? Was it man made, or a visitor from another world?

This lower budgeted documentary by researcher Stan Gordon is full of great information coming from eyewitness testimony, reenactments, and of course, research. To the people of Kecksburg, something definitely landed in the woods of Meteor Road (an ironic name), and the government swooped in and shipped up all the debris.  The orange acorn shaped craft (it does look similar to the Nazi Bell) has become the towns calling card,  and it should be.  With the Boehner silence,  no one knows what took place,  but it's clear something did. This documentary does lack the flair and expensive looking quality of many documentaries,  but it packs a punch.  This one is clearly for the viewer that is interested in the story and the facts as portrayed by the witnesses and not for those who are looking for some blockbuster production. If you are like me and are there for the research value,  check it out.

Unacknowledged (2017)

After taking the night off to watch a competitive softball game last night, I decided that I wanted to watch something different. It has been some time since I ventured into a documentary and this one seemed perfect for my mood. This documentary is the 2017 entry Unacknowledged.

Plot/ Unacknowledged focuses on the historic files of the Disclosure Project and how UFO secrecy has been ruthlessly enforced, and why. The best evidence for extraterrestrial contact, dating back decades, is presented with direct top-secret witness testimony, documents and UFO footage, 80% of which has never been revealed anywhere else.

If you have read my works on here that deal with the UFO phenomena, you already know that I feel that the government has been lying to the populace for decades about the alien presence that exists here on Earth right now. This documentary does a great job at presenting a combination of evidence and witnesses, as well as outlining the level of secrecy that is maintained on the subject. For me, that area resonated and can be tied directly to the news if you truly pay attention. The government knows more than they will ever say, because they allow billions of dollars to disappear every year right in front of us, and they never touch on it. No matter what party affiliation you are, think back to the news about the missing State Department money that was brought up during the election and then look back at the other times you heard this. Black Ops (including the study of aliens/UFOs) eats that money.

This documentary is well made with a nice mixture of pictorial and video evidence and interviews, the theories presented connecting it to our atomic, or nuclear testing facilities are interesting, the material is set in a logical manner that creates a compelling and coherent storyline, and the depth and variety of the witness creates an argument that can be used against the many skeptics that have digested all of the Kool-Aid. Yes, there are some issues with the editing that make some of the material hard to make out and some of the witnesses are hard to research on your own, but those issues are minor. In the end, this is a great documentary that helps expose the elites, mainstream media, and government officials that continue to run Psychological Warfare Initiatives against the people and spread lies on the subject. Much like the deceptions of 9-11, other government-backed operations, and the disinformation that is all around us, the alien/UFO phenomenon has become another piece of history that has been developed to divide the country. Stand up and say enough already and become a champion for disclosure. Unacknowledged is an entertaining documentary and a movie for both believers and skeptics. Watch this one, it needs to be seen.

The Blob (1988)

One of the things that have taken a backseat to softball season these past few years is attending the annual Blobfest that celebrates the classic tale, The Blob. It is a festival that I totally recommend for any true sci-fi fan. After some thought last night, I decided to revisit The Blob, but instead of the 1958 classic, I chose the modern reboot from 1988.

Plot/ Remake of the 1958 sci-fi horror classic about a deadly blob from another planet, which consumes everything in its path. Teenagers attempt without success to warn the townspeople, who refuse to take them seriously.

Let me start by saying, I am a huge fan of the original cult classic The Blob. While this one is not as campy or even as charming as the original, it does do enough to stand on its own. This movie was a lot more entertaining than I thought it would be. It would likely be more respected had it not been a reboot of the cult classic. Completely different from the original, this one does feature some solid performances, a lot of action, and enough gore to fit in with many of the films crafted in the 1980s. However, the feel loses some of the tension created in the scenes with the blob and never truly captures those atmospheric elements that could have made this movie even more memorable. Plus, it lacks suspense, leaving is solely a gorefest. In the end, while this is a fun and entertaining film (even all these years later) it does lack the overall atmosphere and suspense to make it extremely memorable. If you have not seen it, and you are a horror/sci-fi fan, you are missing out. Find it and check it out.

Coma (1978)

After a night with the space family Robinson, I decided to venture back a few decades for my next selection. That movie was the 1978 sci-fi thriller Coma.

Plot/ When a young female doctor notices an unnatural amount of coma's occurring in her hospital she uncovers a horrible conspiracy.

This is one of those movies that stick with you long after you watch it. Filmed in the late 1970s, this one stands tall even after all of these years. The cinematography and direction are amazing creating a dark, heavy, and suspenseful atmosphere, the performances are solid, the scripting based on the source material works, and the storyline may be even more relevant today than it was in the decade that it was released in. Yes, there are some flaws that can be picked up under close inspection of the film and some of the early pacings seems a bit slow, but those are but minor flaws in this sci-fi classic. In the end, if you are in the mood for a solid sci-fi suspense thriller, give this one a shot. This is an outstanding selection for a rainy summers night. That is unless you are poised for a doctors visit in the near future.

Skyquake (2015)

After taking a night yesterday to get caught up in the past few episodes of Riverdale, I decided that it was time to get back at it tonight with something a little different before I get back to my National Poetry Month project Salvation. After some debate, I decided on the 2015 Brain Damage Films entry Skyquake.

Plot/ Since 2012 reports of strange sounds coming from the sky have flooded social media, now Adam, a recluse, struggling with his own demons, believes whatever is causing them has followed him home.

When I picked this one up, the synopsis seemed interesting, as I have heard (and read about) many accounts of this phenomenon. While this movie takes on this subject in a different manner that leaves much of it to the viewers interpretation, something that I love as a writer. The visuals are really well done with solid cinematography and direction; the storyline is intriguing, and the performances are decent. Yes, some of the special effects and audio tracks are uneven and the pace does feel a bit slow, but those issues seem to fit in with this strange tale. In the end, for a lower budgeted film, this one is a thought-provoking journey into something that we really do not understand as a civilization. If you are like me, and are fascinated by the unknown (especially the 4:44-time symbolism), give it a shot, you could do much worse.

Antibirth (2016)

Now that I am settling back into a bit of a routine with movies having finished After the Static, I definitely seem to have a different perspective on certain things. As I move forward in the next week working on the online companion to the book, I will still be finding some time to dive into the blog. Tomorrow will be a review of the stage adaptation of 1984. Tonight is a movie that in ways were both fascinating and frightening for different reasons, the 2016 indie flick Antibirth.

Plot/ In a desolate community full of drug-addled Marines and rumors of kidnapping, a wild-eyed stoner named Lou wakes up after a wild night of partying with symptoms of a strange illness and recurring visions as she struggles to get a grip on reality while stories of conspiracy spread.

Antibirth is a strange movie. Not really a horror film (even with some early creepiness), it is more of a strange art-house character study that travels into the weird or surreal. This indie has some odd moments and features some solid performances from an outstanding cast, some interesting characters, and a tremendous script that is both entertaining and engaging. Sure, there are some moments where the lack of budget and uneven plot shine through, but those elements do nothing to derail the film. Overall, it is one of the better indie flicks I have seen come around in some time. In the end, Antibirth is a movie that will either be loved or hated for many different reasons within the storyline. Personally, I loved it. While it is not for everyone, I think that there are many people out there like me who will love it.

Flight 313: The Conspiracy (2015)

As I continue into February, I decided that I wanted to watch something a lot different from my usual, so I grabbed a straight drama based on a true story. What was that film? It was 2015s Flight 313: The Conspiracy (AKA A Dark Reflection).

Plot/ A journalist digs deep into the world of aviation and discovers some uncomfortable truths. And a conspiracy trail dating back to 1954. But why is no one saying anything?

On the opposite end of the spectrum from SIN, this movie is more of a public service announcement about a real problem and is based on a true story. While not a micro-budgeted film, unions, passenger groups, funded this one and concerned aviation figures in the United Kingdom and featured many volunteers concerned with the issue of Aerotoxic Syndrome. Because of this, the movie is not perfect and does have some minor flaws with pacing, cinematography, and editing, but those were somewhat expected. The performances are solid, the storyline is informative and interesting, and everything works well together. In the end, this one won’t entertain everyone, but is an intriguing film to watch because of the message alone (especially if you fly a lot). If you like drama’s based on true stories, give it a shot.

Operation Avalanche (2016)

Sometimes I just need to take a break away from the computer and such, and that was what I did last night while watching a solid conspiracy driven mockumentary. The moon landing may be one of the most famous conspiracy theories out there, and it is one that I have looked into more than a few times. To my surprise, I found a new movie dealing with that subject, 2016s Operation Avalanche.

Plot/ In 1967, four undercover CIA agents were sent to NASA posing as a documentary film crew. What they discovered led to one of the biggest conspiracies in American history.

When I saw this one at Family Video I was not really concerned about the quality or any other aspect, I was drawn to the storyline and subject matter. For better or worse, I love conspiracies and the moon landing is one of my favorite rabbit holes to go down. I am sure there are many out there that are in the same boat on that subject. Matt Johnson is one of the most inspirational filmmakers today. While this movie is not perfect and it does have some flaws, there were enough elements surrounding the story to make it an interesting take on this conspiracy. I loved the feel of the movie, as it definitely transported the viewer back to that period with a solid combination of soundtrack and cinematography. The idea of the story and the performances were also decent. However, the atmosphere and some of the scripting were uneven, plus the pacing was a bit choppy – all elements that detracted from the final product. In the end, this mockumentary was a different and entertaining look at possibly one of the greatest conspiracies of all time. If you are like me and are into conspiracies, give it a shot.

Snowden (2016)

Here it is, post number 1500 at the Ringmaster's Realm. As I said in yesterday’s post, I put a lot of thought into what movie I would review and decided on Snowden from Oliver Stone. To me, this was a very important story that must be told, and there is no one better than Stone to deliver the goods. No matter where you stand on Edward Snowden, he is a hero and should not be subjected to the hatred and ridicule he has faced. In fact, no whistleblower should be treated in this manner and if the United States government was not so corrupt, did not have so much to hide, and did not treat whistleblowers like criminals, this ordeal may not have ever happened. This is a perfect example and a powerful look at the Military Industrial Complex and the globalist community (led by the United States Government) that wants to enslave not only America, but also all of humanity.

Plot/ The illegal NSA surveillance techniques are leaked to the public by one of the agency's employees, Edward Snowden, in the form of thousands of classified documents distributed to the press.

Any time I sit down to watch a movie by Oliver Stone, I am excited about what minuscule detail will be brought out for the entire world to see. That was especially the case with Snowden. No matter what your political ideology is, the truths revealed by Edward Snowden opened the door for a more transparent society and again proved that you cannot trust the government. This is a great movie about a man that should be viewed as an American hero. Stone again delivers with his great eye for a story, and also proves he is not afraid to say things within his films that a great many people believe, but do not have a platform to speak from. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is outstanding as Snowden, and should be in line for recognition during award season. The rest of the cast is also top-notch and their performances are solid. The storyline and script is well developed, the cinematography and editing are tremendous, and the amount of information provided to the viewer is powerful. It was an easy watch and a movie that kept me glued to the screen. The only real negative with the movie is the fact that everything felt a bit compressed for the runtime. Yes, there will be viewers that discount the authenticity and will blindly believe that the surveillance infrastructure is fiction, but for them I would say wake up. Since the inception of the Patriot Act, no one has been free, and this story again proves that what many believe are conspiracies and indeed truths. In the end, Snowden is a powerful movie that should rank up there near the top of the Stone portfolio. It is a movie that must be seen full of information that should be embraced. Find it and watch it!

Zeitgeist (2007)

After being somewhat disappointed in Conspiracy of Lies, I needed something to quench my craving for an interesting documentary. After some thought, I decided to revisit one of my favorites (plus informative): 2007s conspiracy themed documentary Zeitgeist.

Plot/ This film gathers information from many sources and puts it together in a way that shows it is possible for people to be manipulated by large institutions, governments and economic powers.

After watching Conspiracy of Lies, I could not shake the need for a solid documentary. That is exactly what this movie is. Zeitgeist is one of the most thought provoking and entertaining documentaries, I have seen, and it does a great job at tying what many see as unrelated topics into a coherent conspiracy driven documentary. There is a lot to like in this one, with solid production values, strong research, and enough material to make the viewer want to dive in and research it one their own. As a fan of conspiracies, I have dug into some if these elements and have come out with some similar beliefs. The 911 section is extremely eye opening and is a section that everyone should watch with an open mind, as there are a tremendous amount of flaws in the official investigation report and there are still major unanswered questions about the attack that opened the door for the 1984 style police state that we now live in. On the downside, there are some moments where the pacing seems a touch off. Plus, there is so much information brought out in this documentary that it is hard to wrap your head around it if you aren’t a semi-informed viewer. For me, I loved it, but it could turn some viewers off. In the end, this movie does a great job of presenting information and challenging the viewer to become more informed about the topics. While some may blow it off as just another set of conspiracies, if you are awake, you know how real the deception is and how important it is for us to get involved and help expose the truth. As President Reagan said, “Ask Questions and Demand Answers!” Check this movie out; it is well worth watching for anyone.

The Fury (1978)

Sometimes, I need to take a break and focus on homework and recovering from long days at the institute. The past couple days have been exactly what I needed, as I had excessively much going on. To get back in the swing of things, I decided to take a trip back in time for my next selection-the 1978 supernatural entry The Fury.

Plot/ A government agent is determined to come to his son's rescue when a sinister official kidnaps him to harbor his extremely powerful psychic abilities.

Sometimes it is fun to revisit the 1970s and the movies that helped shape the modern horror cinema. That was the case with this telekinesis/psychic thriller directed by Brian De Palma. This one definitely came with more blood, guts, and gore than Carrie, but it did not leave the same impact. This intriguing combination of horror, thriller, and even governmental espionage did have some outstanding effects, a solid cast with some decent performances, and some interesting ideas. Yes, there were some pacing issues, it feels a touch long, and some of the plot/characters tend to add confusion, but those do nothing to totally derail this underrated De Palma entry. In the end, it may not be the best flick from De Palma and at times, it feels dated, but it is still an interesting movie to watch and a film that should be seen. If you have not watched it, give it a shot, you could do much worse.
