Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus (2010)

Jillian has been on a shark kick lately, and I finally gave in to finding one that maybe we could watch. I decided on the aptly named Mega Shark vs Crocosaurus. Honestly, with a title like that how bad could it get (OK.. Maybe pretty bad)!

Plot/ The Megalodon has survived its battle with the giant octopus from the previous film. But now, a new prehistoric terror is discovered deep in the jungles of Africa.

With a title like that, there is no way this movie could have been good.  And honestly, it did not disappoint, it was THAT BAD. Everything was bad, the acting overdone, the effects horrible, CGI worse and cheap looking, soundtrack, script and cinematography all terrible. But you know what? I laughed at all of the flaws and was waiting for something funnier to hit the screen. Yes, it was ridiculously horribly bad, but for some reason, I enjoyed it. I think I am actually becoming a fan of The Asylum, there brand of low-budget crazy horror flicks are becoming at least entertaining (for all the wrong reasons that make their flicks laughable at best). In the end, this Sci-Fi Channel-like monster disaster flick is bad on so many levels, but also entertaining. True horror and movie fans will hate it, but if you enjoy the late-night B-Movie horror shows or the movies that insult your intelligence that made Saturday nights special all those years ago, you may at least laugh out of this one.
